Lessons Learned

Through the duration of this project, we were able to take the lessons learned both in lecture and in the textbook and implement them into real life situations. Depending on the type of company and its structure (meaning if it is a small business or large or to whom it caters and serves to) there may be different and more efficient ways to shape the operations of a company. In relations to structure of Concentric AB, we have learned the following: 
1. Recognized how effectual Lean Systems are to a company. Reliable suppliers is very important since there are limited resources and you are depended on them to complete a customer demand. 
2. Understood the importance of sustainability and the concept may be overlooked. Many countries have many regulations and as we analyze German's environmental law we were able to understand why Concentric invest in product innovation as most of the products offer to their customer will helped them reduce their CO2 footprint. 
3. Quality of the output is important but process from input to output is even more significant. The Lean's System structured that Concentric showcased was not very beneficial due to limited power Concentric in Hof have over it's suppliers, but we were able to understand that is necessary for this particular company since the products cater specific businesses. 

By the guidance of the company managers and lectures presented by Dr. Thomas Abraham our group was able to accomplish this project and expand our mind outside of the classroom.
